Ads comparison of Head and shoulder & clear shampoo

Head & shoulder shampoo ad

Head & shoulder ad that I have selected have the celebrity Sajal Ali in which she is getting prepared for going outside but suddenly contacted by a friend on video chat and she see dandruff on sajl’s shoulders and she says dandruff and sajal says beautiful hairs or dandruff free and  gets disappointed, then says I am not coming with you. This ad basically shows that head & shoulder two in one which means dandruff free hair and soft & beautiful hair as well in every season and then says ‘removing the burden from the shoulders’ this is very commonly used in the head & shoulder ads. This ad is all about the new head & shoulder that offers the two in one that is dandruff free and beautiful & soft hair in every season.

Clear shampoo ad

Clear shampoo ad that I have selected has the celebrities Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in which they have shown that old clear shampoo has 100% failed to remove the dandruff. So they have been introducing the new Clear shampoo that will remove the dandruff 200% and there will be zero dandruff and it will never return until one use the clear shampoo. At the one side they have shown that they have been opposing their old clear shampoo but it looks like they have been opposing the head & shoulder because as they act angrily which is very rare to do this with your own product, one more thing I am saying this because head & shoulder always says removing dandruff 100% and in the clear ad mehwish Hyat says ‘100% tum se muhabat ker ta hun’ and on replying to that ‘Fahad says safed jhoot’  and  I am saying this because clear has never used before 100% dandruff free. Furthermore, at the end they also say we have to switch to clear which reflects that they are opposing the head & shoulder as they are the very close competitors because both are for dandruff so one can say there must be some similarities and some differences between both so now discussing that that.

Similarities and differences in both

The very common similarity between both of the shampoos is, they both promote the dandruff free hair and defiantly both are for cleanliness of the hair and in the head & shoulder ad they also mentioned the soft and beautiful hairs in the every season so it is also important to link it with the beautiful hairs because many people like to look beautiful and to have a feel of using something that will make us more beautiful and furthermore, the softness is also favored by many people so there have been used many good points in the head & shoulder ad that can attract the people watching ad and may peruse them to buy the product. There is one major difference in both of the ads, like in the clear shampoo there have been used very rough and criticizing language that can give the negative impression to the watcher and let’s suppose, if we accept that it is fact, they have been not criticizing the head & shoulder but opposing their own product, then still this would be there negative point that they have been showing their own product completely worsened and not good, as we can say they have thrown it away and saying that it has 100% failed, think what people will fell some of which were using their product. So at one side it is giving the impression that they are criticizing head & shoulder and on other side it is also proving them fool to the people who have been using their old clear even though in their intention they may be criticizing the head & shoulder but there users will still understand they are talking about clear shampoo because everybody does not understand such things.

On the other hand head & shoulder has made more good and persuasive ad by showing the very clear message to the targeted market with the good content like soft hair and beautiful hair this is the plus point that have not been seen in the clear shampoo ad and the head & shoulder ad is free of any kind of rough and criticizing language. So in my view head & shoulder ad is more batter and more persuasive than the clear shampoo ad.
